Yes that’s right Thursday is our last screening day before Christmas but the good news is that we will be back on Thursday 4th Jan at 6.30 with our second screening of Blade Runner 2049.
This Thursday, The Sound of Music will start at 3.00pm prompt, the bar will be open beforehand serving our customary free tea/coffee and biscuits pre matinee screening.
Before I sign off for this year, No6 would like to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope to see all of you very soon.
Thursday’s matinee The Sound of Music is a long old film so we are starting at 3.00pm, make sure you arrive in time to wet your whistle and lubricate your vocal chords so you can sing along to this classic musical. This isn’t the sing-a-long version with the words on the screen (that version is owned by a different company to the original and is unavailable to us) but we are happy for people to dress in their best dirndl and help Julie et al get through their songs, who needs the words we know them anyway.
Thursday evening’s film Murder on the Orient Express is heading for destination ‘sold out’ so if you fancy joining us for that one please book online. If you can’t book online, rock up to the ticket office at about 6.15 to buy one of the 50 tickets that we save for walk ups on the door. We cannot accept telephone reservations or bookings. Mulled wine and Prosecco and nibbles will be available before the evening performance.
