Our September programme is well underway now and our October films are now on the website if you care for a gander. If you are a music fan there are treats in store; Hallelujah, Moonage Daydream and Elvis are all in the mix. Classics for October are Jackie Brown which is 25 and Night of the Living Dead, the George A Romero zombie movie for Halloween, plus lots of new releases.
If you have visited the cinema this month, could we say a pretty please and ask you to fill in this survey. If we get a good response it will help with our funding applications in the future...
On Thursday evening Fire of Love follows the unique lives of Katia and Maurice Krafft who dedicated their lives to capturing the most explosive volcano imagery ever recorded.
Friday’s film Maisie is a tender documentary about Maisie Trollette, one of the UK’s oldest drag queens. Performing way before RuPaul's Drag Race hit our screens and following in the tradition of the pantomime dame, David Raven has been dazzling audiences with his acerbic wit and saucy sense of humour for over half a century.
An early start on Saturday for our Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick extravaganza. Starting at 6.00pm we know it will be a long evening so if you wish to bring snacks we ask you to eat them in the bar either before or between the screenings.
Up Next Week:
Where the Crawdads Sing (matinee), My Old School, It Snows in Benidorm and Bullet Train.
